The fan designer behind the retiring LEGO Ideas Dungeons & Dragons set has revealed an alternate build expansion with free instructions before next month.
Following the release of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale in 2024, fan designer BoltBuilds has been hard at work to expand the original set, now revealing this addition just before the set is due to retire at the end of next month.

Dungeons & Dragons - A Parallel Saga uses 3,311 of the original model's 3,747 pieces, expanding the left side of the build with another tower, intricate rockwork, more of the underground dungeon and a beach.
The original minifigures have been remixed into entirely different characters. The featured monsters include a Giant Hermit Crab, a Couatl, a young dragon, a Mimic and a flameskull. Only one of these is a repeat from 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale.
There's a full interior to explore in Dungeons & Dragons - A Parallel Saga, and this expansion rivals the original creation, while building on what is already available. All you'll need to build this model is a single copy of 21348 Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale.
